The “Pilot Project for establishing and testing a subsidized insurance system for the coverage of agricultural risks” (ASSI), started operations in Albania in March 2015. Component 2: Agro-Meteorological Information System.

The ADM team of experts has carried out the following main activities:
- Procurement and installation of equipment and software
- Implementation as component of the AIIS
- Transport in selected locations, installation, test and activation of AWS stations in compliance with WMO standards.
- Elaboration of agro-meteorological reports with a detailed assessment of the relationships between local weather events and grape yields.
